A walk around the neighborhood and the shul

On Monday, we went for a walk around the neighborhood. We looked at the local stores; the car parts shop, the bakery and hair salon.

On Tuesday, we went to the shul. We learn that the Rabbi takes care of the Shul. Rabbi Dovid took out the Torahs for us to see. He helped us find our Hebrew letter in the Torah.

Our trips around the neighborhood

We have been learning a lot about the different people that help us around the neighborhood. We learned that the person that helps us in the store is the store keeper. We also discussed how we are supposed to behave in the grocery store. We went to the store and saw the different foods you can buy. We bought some fruits. When we went back to school, we made cars and boats using apple, grapes, and clementine oranges.

We also learned about the bakery and the pizza shop. We had a lot of fun on our trip to the Pizza shop.

We started learning about fire fighters. We learned that the fire fighters number is 911.  We also learned that fire fighters are our friends and shouldn't be scared of them. We asked how do the fire fighters get rid of fire? And we discovered that they use water! We tried it our selves and it was a lot of fun.

Mr Gena

On Wednesday before vacation, we had a visit from Mr. Gena, our school "Fixer man." We learned about who helps us in our home. In our home, our parents help us. Then we discussed who helps us in school. Our teachers help us in the classroom and we can help each other. We also learned that other people help around the school. Like our school fixer man, Mr. Gena. He came and showed us the tools he uses to fix things around the school.
We also learned a new song about helping each other.
ttto; I love you, you love me.

I help you and you help me
we all have helping hands
